Osan-si Promotes Medical Aid Specialized Project 'Himchan Osan'
Providing Health Management Kits and Customized Health Consultations for Chronic Disease Beneficiaries Aged 60 and Over
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that it will promote 'Himchan Osan,' a health management service for medical aid recipients aged 60 and over with chronic diseases, starting this month.
This project, implemented as part of the '2024 Medical Aid Local Government Specialized Project,' responds to the increasing need for self-health management among elderly medical aid recipients and the rising medical aid costs related to chronic diseases, amid exposure to inaccurate information.
Participants in the project will receive health management kits and regular personalized health consultations. They can also participate in standardized chronic disease education and exercise classes as part of the public health center’s one-stop metabolic syndrome program to acquire accurate knowledge related to chronic diseases.
