The West Sea Regional Coast Guard Agency (Chief Kim Inchang) announced on the 26th that, in response to the recent emphasis on the importance of the "Serious Accident Punishment Act," it conducted a "Commander Special Training" aimed at reinforcing awareness and emphasizing the prevention of serious accidents for its affiliated staff, including supervisors and field managers.

The main inspection items included △ safety accident prevention manuals related to the Serious Accident Punishment Act △ establishment of emergency response plans in case of accidents △ education and training on the use of safety gear and vessel equipment △ safety management status to prevent self-accidents.

A West Sea Coast Guard official stated, "We are conducting systematic inspections focusing on patrol vessels with a high possibility of serious accidents, as well as exclusive piers and police substations," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that serious accidents do not occur by thoroughly conducting regular accident prevention inspections, evacuation drills, and safety education."
