Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee Win Consecutive US Auto Awards
Received Best SUV Award from US Cars.com and MotorWeek
Jeep's flagship sport utility vehicles (SUVs) have consecutively won major automotive awards in the United States.
Jeep announced on the 13th that the 'All-New 2024 Wrangler' and 'Grand Cherokee' received the '2024 Best SUV' award from Cars.com, a leading U.S. automotive review website, and the 'Best Midsize SUV' award from MotorWeek, the longest-running automotive TV program in the U.S., respectively.
Cars.com selects these awards annually for all SUVs sold in the U.S. This year’s winner was the entire lineup of the 'All-New Wrangler.' This includes the 2.0L and 3.6L gasoline models, the 8-cylinder engine-equipped 'Wrangler Rubicon 392,' and the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) 'Wrangler 4xe.' Following last year’s award for the 'Grand Cherokee,' Jeep has dominated the Best SUV awards for two consecutive years.
Jenny Newman, editor of Cars.com, commented, "Jeep has significantly improved the performance and convenience of the All-New Wrangler lineup. The All-New Wrangler is a versatile and capable vehicle, fully deserving of the Best SUV award."
The 5th generation Grand Cherokee lineup, Jeep’s luxury flagship SUV, won the 'Best Midsize SUV' award for the second consecutive year at the 2024 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards. MotorWeek holds this annual awards ceremony to evaluate vehicles based on driving performance, technology, practicality, fuel efficiency, and value. This year, the entire lineup including the '3-row Grand Cherokee L,' 'Grand Cherokee,' and the PHEV 'Grand Cherokee 4xe' were recognized as award-winning vehicles.
