Leading Support for Vulnerable Groups through Side Dish Sharing Volunteer Activities and Local Agricultural Product Purchases
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Kwang-hoon) carried out active social contribution activities by visiting various parts of the local community to celebrate the Gapjin Year Lunar New Year holiday.

View original imageOn the 7th, Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters donated 24 million won to the Busan Community Chest of Korea for side dish sharing volunteer activities. Members of local volunteer organizations prepared holiday food with ingredients purchased using the donation and delivered them to 40 vulnerable households in Gijang-gun.
Additionally, on the 5th, they purchased agricultural products worth about 72 million won, including 1,470 bags of Gijang rice and 300 boxes of pears, and delivered them to vulnerable groups and welfare facilities around the Gori Nuclear Power Plant area. Furthermore, on the 2nd, the labor and management of Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters jointly purchased ingredients at the Wolnae Market and delivered them to vulnerable households in Gijang-gun.
