On the 7th, Lee Bok-hyun, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, visited traditional markets along with five financial companies including KB Kookmin Bank to carry out sharing activities targeting vulnerable groups in the local community.

View original imageOn that day, Governor Lee visited Namseong Sagye Market in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, in the morning and delivered 50 million won in sponsorship funds jointly prepared by the financial sector, along with daily necessities such as rice cakes, fruits, and dried seafood to vulnerable groups in the area.
The visit was also attended by representatives from participating companies in the sharing activities, including Hope Friends Korea, an international relief and development organization, Lee Jae-geun, President of Kookmin Bank, Kang Sung-mook, CEO of Hana Securities, Lee Young-jong, CEO of Shinhan Life, and Park Wan-sik, CEO of Woori Card.
The financial sector has been visiting traditional markets every year before the Lunar New Year to contribute to revitalizing traditional markets and helping marginalized neighbors have a warm holiday. This year, five institutions including the Financial Supervisory Service, Kookmin Bank, Hana Bank, Shinhan Life, and Woori Card participated.
