Purchase Agricultural Specialties and Greet Merchants and Residents for the Holiday
12 Local Governments Including Imsil, Sangju, Yeosu, and Gangneung Participate
On the 26th, Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo District Office in Seoul, visited the '2024 Lunar New Year Direct Market' held at the entrance plaza of Magoknaru Station inside Seoul Botanic Park to encourage the merchants.
On this day, Mayor Jin visited each sales booth, purchased local agricultural specialties, and extended holiday greetings to the merchants and residents visiting the market.
The market featured participation from 12 local governments and 31 companies, including Imsil-gun, Sangju-si, Taean-gun, Gangneung-si, Yeosu-si, Haman-gun, Suncheon-si, Jeongeup-si, Goesan-gun, Wanju-gun, Pyeongchang-gun, and Cheongyang-gun, offering a variety of regional agricultural specialties such as Imsil cheese, Sangju dried persimmons, and Yeosu mustard kimchi.
The market will be open for two days until the 27th, operating until 6 p.m.
