Completion of Pyeongtaek City Low-Income Family Home Repair 'G-Housing' Project
Support from Private Sector and Talent Donation for 12 Households
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that it has completed the 'G-Housing' project, a home repair initiative for low-income families promoted through donations and participation from private organizations.

The G-Housing project repairs homes of low-income families, including elderly living alone and disabled individuals residing in poor housing conditions, through private support and talent donations from local construction companies.
Since early last year, the city has accepted applications and completed interior home repairs such as wallpapering, flooring, insulation, window replacement, bathroom, and boiler replacement for selected recipients, disabled persons, and other low-income families.
Participants in the talent donation include the Gyeonggi Province branch of the Korea Housing Builders Association, Daebang Construction, Daewoo Construction, Dongmoon Construction, Donga Construction Industry, Hyundai Construction, Hoban Construction, Suyang General Construction, Eunhye Construction, and Gyeongan General Construction.

Jung Jang-seon, mayor of Pyeongtaek City, said, "We are grateful to improve the living environment of neighbors in need through the participation and donations of private companies," adding, "We will continue to expand the project to improve the housing conditions of low-income families."
