Yongin City Museum, Recruiting Participants for Historical Experience Education
From the 23rd of this month to the 29th of next month
First-come, first-served registration from the 15th
The Yongin City Museum in Gyeonggi Province is operating a historical experience education program during the winter vacation.
This program, themed around the history, relics, and figures of Yongin, will run from the 23rd of this month until the 29th of next month.
Children aged 6 and above up to 6th grade in elementary school, as well as families, can participate. Participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 15th through the Yongin City integrated reservation website.
The program includes "Joayang! Grant My Wish," celebrating the 2024 Gapjin Year, "Spooky Bojeong-dong Tomb Exploration," which explores the Silla relics in Bojeong-dong, Giheung-gu, and "The Mysterious Stories of Yongin," which introduces figures and lives of the noble families of Yongin. There will also be "HaHaHoHo Mother-of-Pearl Family Motto Making," a session for planning the new year with family.

A representative from Yongin City Museum said, "We have prepared a rich educational program so that children can interestingly learn about the history and culture of Yongin during the winter vacation," adding, "We plan to offer various educational programs that promote the history of Yongin in the new year as well."
