First, the two companies will advance an integrated control system to improve working environments, such as enhancing kitchen fire safety in catering and dining establishments, reducing energy consumption, and applying real-time ventilation system operation. Since 2020, they have been jointly developing a fire prevention system and applying it on-site. This system measures the surface temperature of oil through an infrared temperature sensor, and when the standard temperature is reached, it automatically shuts off the gas valve with an alarm sound and sends a notification to the manager. Furthermore, they plan to develop an integrated control system for kitchen facilities in catering and dining establishments equipped with functions such as automated real-time temperature management of refrigerators and freezers, which were previously managed manually, and management of electricity consumption of other equipment.
The integrated kitchen control system to be developed through this agreement is expected not only to contribute to creating a safe food and beverage workplace by quickly responding to unexpected situations such as fires but also to greatly help operational efficiency through real-time energy management. In particular, by jointly owning intellectual property rights and ownership related to products and systems developed through Ourhome, the two companies aim to increase their utilization in industrial sites in the future.
