Financial Supervisory Service Holds 4th Quarter On-Site Corporate Disclosure Briefings in Seoul and Pangyo

View original imageThe Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 5th that it will hold the 'Visiting Corporate Disclosure Briefing Session' in the fourth quarter of this year.
This briefing session is scheduled to be held on the 12th in Seoul and on the 14th in Pangyo. In addition to the disclosure system, the session will also cover important disclosure precautions that corporate disclosure officers must be familiar with, as well as integrated education on the prevention of unfair trading.
Furthermore, the education will focus on matters that require special attention during the preparation of disclosure documents, such as recent cases of requests for amendments to securities registration statements and key inspection results of periodic reports. It will also include case studies and preventive education related to unfair trading that listed company executives and employees should be cautious about, such as the use of undisclosed information and the return of short-term trading profits.

The Financial Supervisory Service stated, "We will encourage participation from companies located in the metropolitan area through prior notices and guide interested unlisted companies to attend as well," adding, "Materials from the briefing session will be posted on the Financial Supervisory Service website for use by those who cannot attend."
