Line Group Awards Scholarships to Over 30 High School Students in Damyang Area
The regional scholarship program of the Line Group affiliates continues.
According to Line Group on the 28th, Line Construction and the Line Scholarship Foundation awarded scholarships to about 30 current students recommended by the principals of high schools in the Damyang area of Jeonnam (Damyang High School, Damyang Technical High School, Songgang High School, Changpyeong High School, Hanbit High School, etc.) on the 23rd.
Line Construction and Line Scholarship Foundation announced that on the 23rd, they presented scholarship certificates to more than 30 local scholarship students at the auditorium of Damyang High School in Jeonnam.

On the 3rd, the two companies also provided scholarships to all current students of Mujung Elementary School in Damyang.
Another group company, Dongyang Construction Industry and the Dongyang Scholarship Foundation, will also provide scholarships to 80 selected high school students recommended by the Gwangju Nam-gu Office and local high schools.
A Line Group official said, “We are delivering scholarships with the hope that outstanding local students will grow into future talents. Next year, we plan to gradually expand the target by selecting university students for long-term support until graduation. We will also continue cultural and artistic promotion activities such as support for the arts.”
Meanwhile, since 1995, Line Group’s scholarship program, which has been conducted for nearly 30 years to encourage the academic achievements of outstanding talents in the Gwangju and Jeonnam areas and to nurture experts in various fields, has benefited more than 2,800 students.

In addition, Line Group has supported students from multicultural and single-parent vulnerable families, as well as cultural artists, and has participated as an official sponsor of the “Gwangju Memories of Chungjang Festival” for the past seven years.
