Recruitment of Companies Applying for Geumcheon-gu 'Excellent Job Creation Company Certification Program'
Evaluating Employment Growth and Work Environment, 5 Companies Selected... Certificates and Plaques Awarded to Outstanding Companies with Various Benefits Provided for 2 Years
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it is recruiting applicants for the ‘Job Creation Excellent Company Certification Program’ targeting local companies that have contributed to job creation until November 17.
The ‘Job Creation Excellent Company Certification Program’ was established to discover companies that have contributed to expanding employment, certify them as excellent companies, and provide various benefits.
Geumcheon-gu plans to present certificates and plaques to five companies selected as excellent job creation companies, and support benefits such as ‘priority selection for companies participating in job fairs,’ ‘additional points when selecting companies for overseas fairs and advanced industry exhibitions,’ and ‘promotion of excellent job creation cases on the district office website and social media (SNS)’ for two years (2024.1.~2025.12.).
Applicants must be companies with their main office located in Geumcheon-gu for more than one year as of the announcement date (October 27, 2023), with 5 to fewer than 300 regular employees. ▲ Companies with 50 to fewer than 300 employees must have an employment growth rate of 5% or more in the past year and have hired at least two Geumcheon-gu residents among the increased employees. ▲ Companies with 5 to fewer than 50 employees must have an employment growth rate of 5% or more in the past year and have hired at least one Geumcheon-gu resident among the increased employees.
Geumcheon-gu plans to select excellent companies by comprehensively evaluating the ‘employment increase’ category, including the number of workers increased in the past year (October 2022 to September 2023), employment growth rate, and hiring performance of Geumcheon-gu residents, as well as the ‘employment environment’ category, including welfare systems and the conversion of non-regular workers to regular workers. Companies with achievements in hiring vulnerable employment groups and contributions to the local community will receive additional points during evaluation.

Mayor Yu Seong-hoon of Geumcheon-gu said, “As this is the first year of implementing this program to create jobs for residents and revitalize the local economy, we ask for the active interest and participation of companies,” and added, “We will further expand the certification program for regional development in the future.”
