Director Shunji Iwai to Visit Korea in November with 'Kirie's Song'
Japanese director Iwai Shunji will visit Korea next month.
According to the distributor Media Castle, Director Shunji will participate in various events including a GV (talk with the audience) on November 3-4, ahead of the release of his film 'Kirie's Song' on November 1.
'Kirie's Song' is a film that tells the secret stories of Kirie (Aina the End), a street musician who communicates only through song, Itko (Hirose Suzu), a friend who erased herself, and Natsuhiko (Matsumura Hokuto), a man searching for his missing lover. It was invited to the 28th Busan International Film Festival.

Director Shunji, who directed films such as 'Love Letter' (1999), 'April Story' (2000), and 'Hana and Alice' (2004), will visit Seoul for the first time in seven years since 'The Bride of Rip Van Winkle'.
