A report was received that a motorcycle rider was driving on an Incheon road holding a young child in one hand, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Gyeyang Police Station in Incheon on the 17th, at around 7:30 PM that day, a 112 report was received at the Samgeori intersection in Gyeyang-gu stating, "A black motorcycle rider is driving while holding a child in one hand."
The informant told Yonhap News, "The rider was holding the child with only one hand without a baby carrier, which looked very dangerous," and added, "After the traffic light changed at the intersection and the motorcycle started moving again, the rider was still holding the child, so I reported it to the police."
In the video presumed to have been taken by the informant, the motorcycle rider was seen riding while holding the child without any minimal safety equipment such as a baby carrier.
