Korea Real Estate Board Hosts Academy Utilizing Real Estate Big Data Platform
The Korea Real Estate Board announced on the 17th that it will hold the '2023 2nd Real Estate Data Academy' every Tuesday from October 24 to November 14 at the main auditorium of the Gangnam branch office in Seoul.
This academy is part of the data ecosystem creation program of the 'Real Estate Big Data Platform Construction Project,' led by the Ministry of Science and ICT and promoted by the Real Estate Board consortium since July last year to open high-quality real estate data. The consortium consists of a total of 14 public institutions and private companies, including the Real Estate Board (lead organization), Korea PropTech Forum, Korea Transport Institute, and Spatial Information Industry Promotion Agency.
The construction of the Real Estate Big Data Platform is a key task of the 'Real Estate New Industry Promotion Plan' announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in 2021, aimed at establishing a data economy foundation for the digital transformation of the real estate industry.
This academy targets 60 general public and corporate workers. It is organized into a total of eight lectures introducing detailed area-specific data such as residential information, commercial information, architectural design information, and high-precision spatial information opened on the Real Estate Big Data Platform, and educating on utilization methods. Applications can be made on the Real Estate Big Data Platform website.
