Public Official from Buk-gu, Gwangju, Receives 2023 Proud Korean Award
Shim Jae-moon, head of the Advertisement Management Team in Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, received the Grand Prize in the Integrity category at the '2023 Proud Korean Awards.'
Hosted by the National Assembly Press Club and held at the Korea Press Center, the '2023 Proud Korean Awards' honors individuals who have quietly dedicated themselves with outstanding expertise and exceptional leadership in various fields such as education, politics, economy, society, culture, media, national prestige, and sports.
Team Leader Shim has been recognized for his extraordinary passion and strong sense of duty in dedicating himself to national and social development. While performing his public duties, he demonstrated excellent administrative capabilities as an honest, sincere public servant, contributing to the establishment of a sound architectural culture and actively providing architectural administrative services to residents.
In particular, he is reported to have contributed to the restoration of the function of poorly constructed parking lots in buildings, alleviated traffic congestion, and led by example in fulfilling his service, responsibility, and duty to the public, thereby contributing to the development of the nation and local community.
