Yoon Puts Full Effort into Busan Expo Bid at UN General Assembly
On the 21st (local time), President Yoon Suk-yeol and First Lady Kim Keon-hee, who are visiting New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly, had a Korea-Paraguay summit luncheon with President Santiago Pe?a of Paraguay and his spouse in New York.
The cake presented at the luncheon was decorated with the phrase "Busan is ready."

At the luncheon, President Yoon congratulated President Pe?a, who recently took office, saying, "Following the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two countries last year, I hope that with the inauguration of Paraguay’s new government this year, cooperation between our countries will expand in all areas including politics, economy, and culture." President Pe?a was elected in Paraguay’s presidential election last May.
