FitMe Successfully Hosts ‘FITme RTM’ for Domestic Plastic Surgery Medical Staff
FITme recently announced the successful conclusion of the ‘FITme Round Table Meeting (FITme RTM)’ held for plastic surgery specialists in Korea.
FITme conducts global academic seminars by field, dividing them into cosmetic plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery to enhance medical professionals' understanding of customized silicone implants and help improve their knowledge level.
The recent FITme RTM took place on September 6 in Seoul, with 40 Korean plastic surgery specialists attending.
At the seminar, FITme also showcased its implants, including the customized implant FITmico, which can be applied to the chin, forehead, and mandible.
The seminar was chaired by Dr. Noh Bong-il of Globi Plastic Surgery, featuring presentations such as ‘The Necessity of 3D Customized Implants’ by Dr. Yoon Seok-ho of Miho Plastic Surgery, ‘Practical Applications of FITme Implants’ by Dr. Choi Im-don of And Plastic Surgery, and ‘Preoperative FITmico Design and Order Form Writing Tips’ by Dr. Park Sung-woo of Avec Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Yoon Seok-ho of Miho Plastic Surgery explained, “FITmico is especially efficient and stable for patients seeking to correct asymmetrical noses,” and presented various cases where surgeries were performed using FITmico.
Starting with this event, FITme plans to strengthen its business by introducing FITmico to Korean medical professionals, conducting joint research to secure evidence superiority for overseas clinical applications, and planning next-generation product development as part of an open collaboration strategy. Additionally, FITme is currently awaiting FDA approval in the United States and aims to actively pursue regulatory approvals and marketing activities to expand beyond the Asian market to the U.S., the Middle East, and other countries starting in 2024.

Lee In-hee, CEO of FITme, stated, “This FITme RTM was a great opportunity to demonstrate how customized silicone implants can be efficiently used in plastic surgery according to the patient’s surgical goals and the surgeon’s surgical plan.
