Korea Securities Depository, Full Support for Revitalizing Domestic Fisheries and Seafood Consumption
Korea Securities Depository (KSD) announced on the 13th that it will participate in the "Summer Vacation to Fishing Villages and the Sea" campaign to support the recently struggling domestic fishermen and implement measures to promote the consumption of domestic fisheries and seafood products.
Specifically, the support measures include actively using domestic seafood when selecting menus for the company cafeteria and allocating additional budgets to encourage the use of domestic seafood vendors during employee meetings and dinners. Additionally, in the second half of the year, dried seafood gift sets worth a total of 90 million KRW were selected and distributed for promotional and donation purposes, and going forward, seafood sets such as dried seafood will be given top priority when selecting related items. Among these, the donated items will be distributed to vulnerable groups in the Busan area who wish to receive dried seafood, aiming to revitalize the local economy as a corporate citizen of Busan.

Lee Sun-ho, President of KSD, stated, "We hope that the support measures to promote domestic fisheries and seafood consumption will provide some help to fishermen facing economic difficulties.
