On the 28th, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, who collapsed during a trial related to a violation of the Public Official Election Act and was transported to the hospital, has recovered and returned to his duties.
According to Changwon City on the 30th, Mayor Hong has been carrying out his normal schedule since the afternoon of the 29th.

A representative from the Mayor's Secretariat stated, "During the 13th trial, Mayor Hong was taken to the hospital due to dizziness and high blood pressure symptoms with a systolic pressure reaching 208 mmHg, but test results confirmed it was a temporary condition. He has now recovered and will focus on city administration as usual."
