Daegu Bank Recruiting 'Interns Linked to Employment' ... Hiring New Employees After 6 Weeks
DGB Daegu Bank is conducting the ‘2023 Recruitment-Linked Internship Open Recruitment’ to enhance competitiveness through hiring talented individuals and to create jobs.
The ‘Recruitment-Linked Internship Open Recruitment’ is a hiring system where interns selected through document screening and internship interviews undergo a 6-week internship, followed by evaluation and a final interview, and then work as new employees in 2024.
Through the internship activities, interns will gain practical experience at Daegu Bank’s training center including financial training, as well as at branch offices and headquarters departments. This will provide applicants with an opportunity to demonstrate capabilities that cannot be shown in a short interview through the internship.
A DGB Daegu Bank recruitment officer explained, “Since DGB Daegu Bank received the ‘Blind Fair Recruitment Certification’ in July this year, we will evaluate applicants based on job competency and conduct the recruitment process fairly and transparently.” He emphasized, “We will especially focus on hiring convergent talents with financial expertise and digital capabilities.”
The recruitment fields are divided into two sectors: ‘General Finance’ and ‘Digital ICT,’ and applications will be accepted until September 10.
For General Finance, recruitment will be conducted by region to strengthen sales capabilities in each area, divided into the Capital Region, Daegyeong Region, and Bu-Ul-Gyeong Region, with final successful candidates being primarily assigned to branch offices in their respective regions. Applicants from universities located in the Daegyeong (Daegu·Gyeongbuk) and Bu-Ul-Gyeong (Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam) areas can apply for the Daegyeong and Bu-Ul-Gyeong regions, while anyone can apply for the Capital Region and Digital ICT sectors without restrictions.
After completing the AI competency evaluation upon application submission, document screening will be conducted. This will be followed by a written test (for the General Finance sector), a coding test (for the Digital ICT sector), internship interviews, and a 6-week internship (October to November).
Final interviews will be conducted for those who complete the internship, and the final successful candidates will be determined after November by combining internship evaluation and final interview scores. The selected candidates will undergo a new employee training course for over a month and will start their first work as new employees from early 2024.
