Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Strengthens CPR Training for Citizens
The Gwangsan District Public Health Center in Gwangju Metropolitan City will operate CPR training sessions for the general public on a regular basis starting next month.
From the 5th of next month to December 5th, training will be held for 20 people per session at 3 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the main conference room of the Gwangsan District Public Health Center.
The training will focus on practical exercises such as CPR using mannequins and the use of automated external defibrillators.
Civilians who wish to participate can apply through the Gwangsan District lifelong learning portal ‘Baeurangkke’.

An official from the district stated, “It is very important to perform CPR within the critical 4-minute window,” and added, “We will put more effort into CPR education so that many citizens can respond calmly in emergency situations.”
