Dr. Diary Launches 'EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Service' for Corporate Employee Health Management
As companies have recently been introducing various systems to enhance welfare, Doctor Diary (CEO Song Jeyoon) announced the launch of an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) service for corporate employees' health management.
The EAP service from digital healthcare startup Doctor Diary provides highly personalized health management services based on individual health conditions and lifestyles to corporate employees. Coaches with professional certifications, including nurses, clinical nutritionists, and exercise therapists with over three years of experience in hospitals and the healthcare industry, support this service.
The core of this EAP service is ‘gluet.’ Gluet is a next-generation weight management program developed by Doctor Diary that induces weight loss and self-management through blood sugar control using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). It also offers remote one-on-one human coaching in various areas such as nutrition, exercise, and psychology. Additionally, Doctor Diary provides health-related content such as wellness lectures, videos, and specialized textbooks on topics requested by companies.
Previously, Doctor Diary conducted pilot operations of the EAP service with several companies, including the city gas company Samchully, confirming high effectiveness and satisfaction. Over 90% of employees who received the EAP service showed improved health indicators. Satisfaction and recommendation rates were 84% and 92.4%, respectively. The rate of users wishing to reuse the service reached 92.3%, and more than 86% of corporate HR and health practitioners expressed willingness to reintroduce the service.
Song Jeyoon, CEO of Doctor Diary, stated, “Doctor Diary’s EAP service, represented by Gluet, is a groundbreaking solution that can provide practical help in preventing chronic diseases and reducing weight for corporate employees.” He added, “Going forward, Doctor Diary will strive to expand health management services for corporate employees as a leading digital healthcare company.”
