Muan-gun Conducts Safety Training for Workers at Children's Facilities Hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety
On the 28th, Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) conducted a safety education session for 130 workers at the Muan Seungdal Arts Center, organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, titled ‘Safety Education for Workers at Facilities Used by Children.’

According to the county on the 31st, this education is a legally mandated training under the ‘Act on the Safety Management of Children.’ Workers at facilities primarily used by children under 13 years old, such as academies and daycare centers, must receive at least 4 hours of child safety education annually, including first aid practice.
This safety education was designed to enable prompt and necessary actions during emergencies and included △emergency response procedures △methods to handle airway obstruction and cardiopulmonary resuscitation practice for infants, toddlers, and young children.
Governor Kim San stated, “Children can experience various accidents in unpredictable situations,” and added, “We will continue to conduct ongoing safety education and promotional activities to make Muan a place where children can live happily and healthily.”
