Daesang Cheongjeongwon Launches Two Types of 'Magokdong Tteokbokki Lab'
Daesang Cheongjeongwon announced on the 31st that it will launch two new products from the Tteokbokki Project’s first line, ‘Magokdong Tteokbokki Research Lab.’
‘Spicy Sweet Broth Tteokbokki’ features a special sauce made by adding red pepper powder to a broth infused with four types of domestic vegetables: onion, green onion, cabbage, and radish, resulting in a clean taste without any heaviness. Additionally, fish cakes with a high meat content are used to enhance the flavor.
‘Mozzaroze Tteokbokki’ is characterized by a rich and deep cream made with plenty of domestic milk and fresh cream, balanced with red pepper powder for a perfect harmony of spiciness and smoothness. It is topped with mozzarella cheese that stretches delightfully in the mouth, adding not only a savory flavor but also eating enjoyment.
In particular, the density and moisture of the rice cakes were carefully adjusted during preparation to prevent them from swelling or bursting, achieving the optimal texture. The tteokbokki sauce is well absorbed into the rice cakes, which are cut to a thickness of 1.5cm and a bite-sized length of 3cm, making them easy to eat with a spoon.

Starting with these two new products, Daesang Cheongjeongwon plans to introduce a variety of flavors in the ‘Magokdong Tteokbokki Research Lab’ series that reflect future consumer trends.
