OB Beer Leads Manufacturers with 53.1% Market Share
OB Beer announced on the 28th that its flagship product, Cass Fresh, recorded the highest market share in the domestic home beer market in the first half of this year.
According to market research firm Nielsen Korea, OB Beer's Cass Fresh ranked first among all beer brands with a 42.3% market share in the domestic home beer market, including convenience stores, discount stores, and individual supermarkets, in the first half of this year. This is the highest market share in the past five years since 2019. In the manufacturer rankings, OB Beer also took first place with a 53.1% market share.
Cass Fresh showed a gap of 2.3 times compared to the second-place brand in the first quarter of this year, and widened the gap to 2.7 times in the second quarter. Additionally, home market sales volume grew by about 50% from April to June.

OB Beer and Cass are meeting consumers with an unprecedented scale summer campaign for the peak summer season. Since mid-June, they have been holding various consumer events such as pop-up stores and street performances in the main commercial area of Hongdae. Furthermore, on August 19, they will hold the 'Cassool Festival,' a massive outdoor music concert, at Seoul Land.
