‘Auto Bild’ Evaluation Ahead of Skoda and Nissan
The Kia EV6 and Genesis GV60 received high praise in a comparative evaluation conducted by a leading German automotive magazine.
The automotive magazine 'Auto Bild' recently conducted a comparative evaluation of electric vehicles including the Skoda Enyaq Coupe, Nissan Ariya, Kia EV6, and Genesis GV60. This publication is one of the three most reliable German automotive magazines alongside Auto Motor und Sport and Auto Zeitung.
This evaluation targeted four models entering the European compact electrified sport utility vehicle (SUV) market, assessing seven categories: body, convenience, powertrain, driving performance, connectivity, eco-friendliness, and economy.
The EV6 achieved a total score of 580 points by earning balanced scores across all evaluation categories, including first place in driving performance and economy. It surpassed the Skoda Enyaq Coupe (577 points) and Nissan Ariya (537 points) to claim overall first place.
The Genesis GV60 scored 576 points, just one point shy of second place. It earned the highest score (520 points) alongside the EV6 in six major performance and function categories, excluding economy.
The EV6 and GV60 received 103 points (2nd place) and 104 points (1st place), respectively, in the powertrain category. The EV6 recorded a braking distance of 33.3 meters (cold) from 100 km/h to a stop, outperforming the Enyaq Coupe and Ariya by more than 3 meters, earning the highest score (79 points) in driving performance. Additionally, it achieved the highest score of 60 points in the economy category, which evaluates sales price, maintenance, and warranty.
Auto Bild commented, "The outstanding performance of the EV6 is reminiscent of a sports car, and both its eye-catching exterior design and intuitive, highly usable interior are impressive."
