Samsung Electronics Cancels Unpacked Outdoor Event... "Considering Flood Damage and Weather Conditions"
Samsung Electronics has decided to cancel the 'Galaxy Unpacked 2023 Live Viewing' event that was scheduled to take place at Seoul Plaza on the 26th.
On the 21st, Samsung Electronics stated, "Considering the recent flood damage caused by heavy rain and the uncertain weather conditions, we have decided to cancel the outdoor event."
The outdoor event was originally planned to include a live broadcast of the main Unpacked event, performances by popular singers, and product experiences. Since this was the first Unpacked event held in Korea, it was designed so that foreign tourists could also enjoy the event.
However, due to the recent heavy rain causing dozens of casualties and continuous rain forecast starting this weekend, the decision to cancel was ultimately made.
