Gyeonggi International Education Institute, 'English Job Training' for General Local Government Officials After 4 Years
Gyeonggi-do International Education Institute is conducting English job training for general public officials.
View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do International Education Institute conducted an 'English Job Training' program for 60 general local government officials at the institute from the 18th to the 20th of this month.
This in-person training was held for the first time in four years since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019.
The training involved native English-speaking instructors and was divided into five communication modules: ▲ Business Communication ▲ World Culture and Travel ▲ Entertainment and Relationships ▲ English through Sports ▲ Music. Additionally, optional activities such as a coffee class, making bookmarks using English poems, and board games were included.
A trainee who participated in the job training said, "It was an enjoyable training that even English beginners could participate in happily," adding, "Thanks to the consideration and preparation of the native teachers, it was a valuable time to quench my thirst for English."

Yu Hye-young, director of the Gyeonggi-do International Education Institute, stated, "We will continue to expand the English job training to cultivate international sensibility and enhance the work performance of general local government officials."
