Korean Air Labor Union and Management Sign Wage Negotiation Agreement... 3.5% Increase
General Union Agreement Passed
Korean Air held the 2023 wage negotiation signing ceremony on the 18th at its headquarters in Gangseo, Seoul, with labor-management representatives including President Woo Ki-hong and Union Chairman Oh Pil-jo in attendance.
The agreement was approved with 52.57% of union members participating in the vote from the 13th to the 17th voting in favor. According to the agreement, wages will increase by 3.5%, and the maximum payment limit for performance bonuses will be expanded from 300% to 500% of the base salary.

At the signing ceremony, Woo Ki-hong, President of Korean Air, stated, “If labor and management cooperate based on trust, Korean Air will be able to turn any crisis into an opportunity for growth,” adding, “I hope this meaningful negotiation will strengthen the mutually beneficial labor-management relationship.”
