Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, conducted a comprehensive inspection of major disaster prevention facilities operated and managed within the jurisdiction in preparation for heavy rainfall.
On the 13th, Mayor Hong first visited the Palyong Drainage Pump Station, a key disaster prevention facility in the area, focusing on checking the drainage pump test operation and operational status, the drainage condition of the retention basin, and the operation of sluice gates to ensure the normal operation of the facilities.

To ensure optimal disaster prevention functions during the recurring monsoon and heavy rainfall seasons every year, the management departments (Disaster Response Officer and Safety and Construction Divisions of each district office) are designated to conduct regular inspections of the facilities.
