A pressure trough will pass over the northern part of our country, causing heavy rain to pour down in a short time repeatedly. From the afternoon of the 11th to the morning of the 12th, thunderstorms accompanied by gusts of wind with hourly rainfall of 30 to 60 mm are expected mainly in the central region (excluding the Gangwon East Coast), Honam, and the northern inland area of Gyeongbuk.
Expected precipitation amounts are 30 to 100 mm in the central region (excluding the Gangwon East Coast), Honam, northern inland Gyeongbuk, and the West Sea 5 Islands (with some areas in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungnam, and northern Jeonbuk exceeding 120 mm), and 5 to 60 mm in the Gangwon East Coast, Yeongnam (excluding northern inland Gyeongbuk), and Jeju.
Temperatures and humidity will remain high for the time being, making it very hot. The morning low temperatures are expected to be between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius.
The expected low and high temperatures in major cities are 24 and 27 degrees Celsius in Seoul and Busan, 24 and 26 degrees Celsius in Incheon, 25 and 28 degrees Celsius in Daejeon, 24 and 28 degrees Celsius in Gwangju, 24 and 31 degrees Celsius in Daegu, and 24 and 30 degrees Celsius in Ulsan.
Ozone levels are expected to be at 'bad' levels in Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, Chungnam, and Ulsan.
Dense fog will form from dawn to morning on the 11th along the Chungnam West Coast, Jeonnam Coast, and inland Gyeongsang, reducing visibility to less than 200 meters. Sea fog will flow into the Chungnam West Coast and Jeonnam Coast, and fog will form inland Gyeongsang due to humid conditions and a drop in temperature overnight.
For the time being, swells will flow into the South Coast and Jeju Coast, causing waves high enough to wash over rocky shores and breakwaters, so caution is advised.
