KB Financial Group Revamps Personal Customer Membership 'KB Star Club' for the First Time in 13 Years
KB Financial Group announced on the 10th that it has completely revamped its personal customer membership system, 'KB Star Club,' for the first time in 13 years.
Launched in 2010, the KB Star Club system is KB Financial's personal customer membership program that provides customized preferential benefits based on grades calculated by aggregating transaction performance between KB Financial's major affiliates and customers (individuals and sole proprietors).
With this revamp, customer grades have been subdivided and the names of each grade have been changed. The affiliates subject to KB Star Club performance calculation have also been expanded so that customers using KB Financial can receive more preferential benefits.
The affiliates subject to KB Star Club performance calculation have been expanded from the existing five affiliates?KB Kookmin Bank, KB Securities, KB Insurance, KB Kookmin Card, and KB Life Insurance?to seven affiliates, including KB Capital and KB Savings Bank.
Additionally, a 'Grade UP Program' has been established, which upgrades the grade if certain conditions are met, allowing customers who have few transactions with KB Financial or are using KB Financial for the first time to also receive preferential benefits. A group web page has also been newly created to easily check KB Star Club grades, preferential benefit status, and usage.
