An elderly man in his 80s who left his home has been missing for seven days, prompting a joint search by the police and fire department.
According to the Gwangju Bukbu Police Station and Bukbu Fire Station on the 6th, a missing person report was filed by the family on the 1st, stating that Mr. A (81) had disappeared.
Tracking Mr. A via CCTV, the police found that Mr. A, who was suffering from dementia, left his home on the 30th of last month, and his last known whereabouts were around 9:30 p.m. near a park behind Duam-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, heading toward Mudeungsan.
Accordingly, the police and fire department are conducting a joint search around the Mudeungsan area to find Mr. A's whereabouts.
