Song Sang-geun, Vice Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, visited the Gunsan Seafood Complex Center in Jeonbuk Province to participate in a promotional event for the safety of Korean seafood and held a meeting with market merchants.
According to Jeonbuk Province on the 26th, the day before, Vice Minister Song personally distributed promotional materials titled "Enjoy Safe Korean Seafood with Confidence" to merchants at the Gunsan Seafood Complex Center and consumers visiting the market, raising awareness about the safety of Korean seafood.
He then observed seafood consumption trends and purchased Korean farmed seafood such as rockfish, flatfish, and abalone. He also checked the progress of the "Korea Seafood Expo - Onnuri Gift Certificate Refund Event," held from the 22nd to the 25th.

At the meeting, Vice Minister Song stated, "I can clearly say that Korean seafood has never exceeded the radiation safety standards even once, so it is safe," adding, "The government will do its best to manage seafood safety, so you can enjoy Korean seafood with confidence."
