Yang Ji-ho is taking a breather.
On the 16th, at the Isumi Golf Club in Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan (par 73, 7,625 yards), Yang Ji-ho shot a 3-under-par 70 in the second round of the Hana Bank Invitational (total prize money 1 billion KRW), co-hosted by the Korean Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Korean Tour and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), dropping to a tie for 3rd place (10-under-par 136). Starting the day as a co-leader by one stroke, he recorded six birdies and three bogeys.

Yang Ji-ho debuted on the Korean Tour in 2008 and created a dramatic story by winning his first title in 133 tournaments at the KB Financial Live Championship last May. Notably, his wife Kim Yoo-jung carries his caddie bag and provides solid support, drawing attention.
Dahei Sato (Japan) surged with a 6-under-par 67 to take the top spot on the leaderboard (13-under-par 133). Sato said, "My putting was good. I didn’t miss any birdie opportunities, so my momentum didn’t break." He smiled and added, "I’m not thinking about my first win yet. I hope I can keep scoring this well every day." Keita Nakajima is in 2nd place (11-under-par 135), and Daiga Nagano (both Japan) are tied for 3rd. Seung-soo Han (USA) and Tomoya Ikemura (Japan) are tied for 5th (9-under-par 137), eyeing a comeback.

From Korea, Song Young-han made four birdies (one bogey) and is tied for 13th place. Song said, "Overall, I’m satisfied with my performance. Since I’m currently active on the Japan Tour, I think I have some advantage in adapting to the environment and course." He added, "I have played on this course before. Depending on the course conditions, I will set a good strategy and try to perform well over the weekend." Jae-kyung Lee, Min-gyu Kim, and Dong-gyu Jang also joined the group tied for 13th place.
