After consecutive birdies on the 14th and 15th holes, he took a brief breather with a bogey on the 17th hole (par 4), then secured two more birdies on the 1st and 8th holes (both par 5). Fowler and Schauffele dominated the leaderboard by posting the lowest 18-hole scores of the tournament. World No. 3 Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland) is tied for 5th place (5-under 65), while No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (USA) and ‘The Hulk’ Bryson DeChambeau (both USA) are tied for 7th. World No. 2 Jon Rahm (Spain) and Phil Mickelson (USA), who is challenging for the ‘Career Grand Slam,’ are tied for 25th place (1-under 69).
