Free Consulting for Cryptographic Module Verification Testing and Evaluation
Facing Difficulties Due to Lack of Personnel, Budget, and Support Programs
The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced on the 7th that, together with the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Intelligence Service, it is accepting applications for free consulting on cryptographic module verification testing and evaluation for small and medium-sized enterprises preparing for cryptographic module verification. The application period is from today until the 21st.
Cryptographic module verification is a system that verifies the safety and implementation compliance of cryptographic modules to protect data communicated within national and public institutions. Small and medium-sized enterprises recognize the importance of cryptographic modules but face difficulties due to lack of personnel, budget constraints, and absence of support projects. Accordingly, KISA provides customized consulting for each company to alleviate the burden on companies developing cryptographic modules, including ▲ education on cryptographic module design and implementation ▲ interpretation of cryptographic module verification standards ▲ prior preparation of test and evaluation submission materials.
