Modetour Donates Second Relief Fund for Earthquake Recovery in Turkey
Donation of 4.16 Million KRW to Save the Children
Modetour announced on the 1st that it donated 4.16 million KRW in cash and emergency relief supplies to the international child rights NGO Save the Children on the 17th of last month to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkey.
The donation was raised from 1% of the sales from the May reservations of the Turkey home shopping broadcast held on April 9th through GS Shop home shopping. The donation provided by Modetour will be used to support earthquake recovery activities in Turkey and Syria, which were severely affected by the large-scale earthquake. Previously, in February, Modetour also delivered earthquake recovery donations to the Turkish Embassy through the Korea Association of Travel Agents.
