Com2uS's 'Chronicle' Surpasses 50 Billion KRW in Global Revenue
Com2uS announced that its summoning role-playing game (RPG) ‘Summoners War: Chronicle (hereinafter Chronicle)’ achieved 50 billion KRW in revenue on the 1st, just 54 days after its global launch.
‘Chronicle’ surpassed half of its annual revenue target of 100 billion KRW in less than two months since its release on March 9. In particular, after the large-scale collaboration update on April 25, it ranked 6th in the global Steam overall revenue rankings and entered the top 10 RPG revenue rankings in 52 regions on Google Play Store and 11 regions on Apple App Store.
The revenue distribution by region was evenly spread across Asia and Western countries, including Thailand, Japan, and France. Notably, it has been steadily successful in Europe, which has been called a barren land for domestic MMORPGs. In France, it maintains the number 1 spot in Steam revenue. It also ranks highly in major European gaming markets such as Belgium, Austria, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland.
In Japan, it climbed back up to 3rd place in the Steam revenue rankings. It has consistently maintained a high position in Steam revenue rankings in key Asian regions such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan since its release.
