On the 29th, IBK Investment & Securities stated that as artificial intelligence (AI) advances, cybersecurity will become increasingly important, and predicted that Genieons will benefit from this trend.
Researcher Chae Yoon-seok of IBK Investment & Securities explained, "With the misuse of AI technologies such as ChatGPT, cyber attacks have become easier," adding, "The diversification of access terminals, virtual assets, autonomous driving, and the expansion of smart factories have diversified the targets of cyber attacks."
He continued, "As the scope of damage is expected to expand, the importance of cybersecurity is being emphasized."
Researcher Chae introduced, "Genieons is a leading domestic cybersecurity company, holding market shares of 77% and 84% in the public procurement market for NAC and EDR sectors, respectively," and explained, "NAC (Network Access Control) is a technology that checks the security status of users and devices accessing the network and allows or blocks network usage according to security policies."
He emphasized, "The company grew by localizing foreign solutions and has secured over 2,400 cumulative customers."
Furthermore, he forecasted, "The NAC market is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 27.5% until 2032," and predicted, "The increase in IoT products and the spread of the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) trend will drive market growth."

He described, "EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) is a solution that monitors the behavior of users and devices to detect threats by identifying abnormal device activities," and added, "Genieons developed the first domestic EDR solution in 2017."
