Gyeonggi Tourism Organization to Host the 2028 International Congress of Cytology and Pathology
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, together with the Suwon Convention Center Foundation, has successfully secured the hosting rights for the '2028 International Congress of Cytology (ICC)'.
The ICC is an international academic conference held every three years since 1961, and it will be held in Korea for the second time among Asian countries, following Japan in 2016.
The 23rd ICC, taking place over six days from May 7 to 12, 2028, at the Suwon Convention Center, will host over 1,000 pathologists and cytopathologists from 30 countries, along with more than 500 overseas diagnostic testing experts.
It is highly significant not only for the exchange of the latest information in the field of cytopathology but also for showcasing the level of Korean cytopathological diagnostics to the world.
