W Concept "Offline Store Sales Up 30% Year-on-Year"
Fashion platform W Concept announced on the 16th that sales at its offline stores increased by 30% compared to the same period last year.
W Concept operates a total of three stores, starting with its first store opened at Shinsegae Department Store Gyeonggi Branch, followed by Daegu Branch and Gangnam Branch. Sales of 65 brands showcased at the three stores from March 18 last year to the 15th of this year rose by 30% compared to the same period last year. It is analyzed that utilizing offline spaces as sales areas also contributed to increased sales for the tenant brands.
The cumulative number of visitors to the offline stores was recorded at 400,000. The proportion of visitors in their 20s and 30s was about 50%, the highest along with online, and the proportion of visitors in their 40s was about 30%.
W Concept plans to continue its brand showroom experiments this year as well. Until the 22nd, a popup store for the Your Name Here brand will be showcased in the space opposite the W Concept store located on the 5th floor of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch. More than 60 new spring products, including the newly launched denim line Your Jeans, can be seen all in one place.

A W Concept representative said, "Over the past year, W Concept offline stores have served as a channel to promote designer brands through various experiments," adding, "This year, we will continue marketing that links online and offline to showcase more brands and products."
