Changwon Special City Hoewon-gu Conducts Specialized Wildfire Training
The Masanhwoin District Office of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, conducted specialized wildfire training to strengthen wildfire suppression capabilities in preparation for large-scale wildfires during the dry spring season.
The training held on the 15th invited a professional instructor from the Korea Wildfire Prevention Technology Association to analyze actual wildfire cases for a total of 28 participants, including the wildfire prevention and suppression team and mobile patrol monitors. The session included theoretical education on wildfire characteristics, prevention and initial response, safety rules, and proper suppression techniques, as well as suppression training using mechanized systems to maximize capabilities for systematic and rapid wildfire suppression when wildfires occur.
