AhnLab's 'V3 Mobile Security' Receives Perfect Score in Security Evaluation Report
AhnLab announced on the 9th that its smartphone security solution, ‘V3 Mobile Security,’ received a perfect score certification in the first mobile security solution performance evaluation of 2023 conducted by the global security product testing organization 'AV-TEST.'
In the mobile security solution performance evaluation conducted by AV-TEST in January, V3 Mobile Security achieved a perfect score in all three evaluation categories: ‘Detection Rate,’ which assesses the detection performance of the latest malware; ‘Performance,’ which measures the impact on smartphone performance when the product is running; and ‘Usability,’ which checks for false positives in apps from Google Play and private stores. Each category scored 6 points, totaling 18 points.
AhnLab’s V3 Mobile Security is the only domestic smartphone security product that has participated in every AV-TEST mobile security solution evaluation since 2013 and has consistently obtained certification.
Kim Chang-hee, Head of Product Service Planning at AhnLab, stated, “Smartphone security threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, with malicious apps impersonating popular apps even in legitimate app stores. Based on our technology recognized by the highest number of AV-TEST mobile certifications in Korea, AhnLab will continue to create a safe mobile environment.”
