Gimpo International Airport Selected as Excellent Airport in World Airport Service Evaluation
Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 7th that Gimpo International Airport was selected as an excellent airport in the ‘2022 Airport Service Quality (ASQ)’ evaluation.
The International Air Transport Association (ACI) evaluated passenger satisfaction regarding airport experience, including facility cleanliness, convenience of airport use, and staff friendliness, for 291 major airports worldwide over the past year, and announced 69 excellent airports.
Gimpo Airport, which belongs to the medium-to-large evaluation group (annual passenger volume of 25 to 40 million), received excellent evaluations in smart guidance services for facility locations within the airport, comfortable passenger waiting facilities, and rapid security screening procedures. It was once again recognized for its high service capabilities alongside world-class airports such as Singapore Changi Airport and Zurich Airport in Switzerland.
Louis Felipe de Oliveira, Secretary General of ACI, stated, “Airports selected as excellent airports in the ASQ are directly recognized by passengers for their efforts to provide outstanding service.”
