Business Agreement with 82 Startup
Korean and American business organizations have joined forces to help venture companies enter the U.S. market.
The Korea Venture Business Association and the Korea Software Industry Association signed a business agreement on the 6th with the North American Silicon Valley Korean startup group '82Startup' to jointly support the local entry of Korean companies into the North American market.
82Startup is a nonprofit community led by Lee Gi-ha, CEO of Primer Saz? Partners. It includes about 700 companies, including five unicorns founded by Koreans with headquarters in the U.S., such as Sendbird and Moloco.
The signing ceremony was attended by Seong Sang-yeop, chairman of the Korea Venture Business Association, Cho Jun-hee, chairman of the Korea Software Industry Association, and Lee Gi-ha, chairman of 82Startup. They promised to seek joint cooperation plans and collaborate to promote the global expansion of domestic venture companies.
This agreement was established to ▲strengthen the global network to support the entry of excellent domestic venture and software companies into North America and ▲build a cooperative system to promote exchanges between domestic companies and North America-based Korean startups.
