France to Send Light Tanks to Ukraine Within a Week

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] France will send AMX-10 RC light tanks to Ukraine within a week.
On the 19th (local time), S?bastien Lecornu, Minister of Defense, stated in an interview with the Sunday edition of the daily newspaper Le Parisien that the promised light tanks would be deployed to Ukraine by late next week.
However, he did not disclose how many light tanks would be delivered, saying he did not want to share any strategic information with Russia.
Minister Lecornu said that the training of Ukrainian soldiers who will use the AMX-10 RC is "almost complete."
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron and President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone call that afternoon to discuss strategy.
