High Satisfaction with Gwangju Nam-gu's 'Happy Welfare 7979 Center'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has shown a high level of satisfaction with the Happy Welfare 7979 Center, which provides customized welfare services to residents in the district.
Nam-gu announced on the 30th that the satisfaction rate of residents who used the Happy Welfare 7979 Center over the past year was found to be 93%, an increase of 0.6% compared to the previous year.
This survey was conducted through telephone and written questionnaires targeting 606 residents who had experience using services through the Happy Welfare 7979 Center.
Among them, 500 residents participated in the survey, showing a very high response rate of 82.5%.
Looking at the age distribution of respondents, those in their 70s and 80s accounted for 154 (30.8%) and 108 (21.6%) respectively, making up 52.4% of all respondents.
This indicates that the Happy Welfare 7979 Center serves as a strong support pillar among the elderly residents in the district.
The main purpose of using the center was cited by 196 respondents (51.2%) as resolving various difficulties through the 7979 Volunteer Group, and 164 respondents (32.8%) sought help from the Happy Welfare 7979 Center for welfare information consultation and inquiries.
Regarding service satisfaction, the proportions of respondents who answered ‘very satisfied’ and ‘satisfied’ were 288 (57.6%) and 176 (35.4%) respectively, resulting in an overall satisfaction rate of 93%.
Additionally, when asked whether the consultation service helped resolve welfare needs, 94.2% of respondents evaluated that it was helpful.
Furthermore, the most common way respondents learned about the Happy Welfare 7979 Center was through the local administrative welfare center, accounting for 160 people (32%), followed by 136 people (27.2%) who found out through acquaintances with experience using the center, which is a very noteworthy point.
