Lee Jung-jae Wins Best New Director Award from Hawaii Film Critics Society
Director Lee Jung-jae received the Best New Director Award at the Hawaii Film Critics Society Awards for the film 'Hunt'.
He is the third director to receive this honor, following Bong Joon-ho of 'Parasite', which won Best Foreign Language Film at the Hawaii Film Critics Society Awards, and Park Chan-wook of 'The Handmaiden'.
With his directorial debut 'Hunt', Lee Jung-jae won the Blue Dragon Film Award, the Korean Film Producers Association Award, the Korean Film Critics Association Award, and the Buil Film Award last year. The film, which was released in North America last December, has received acclaim not only domestically but also internationally.
